Pre-season maintenance of car air conditioners: stand MS111

A car air conditioner is indispensable for maintaining a comfortable temperature and cleaning the air in the cabin when it gets hot outside. If the car air conditioner does not cool the air sufficiently or fails, very often the reason of its breakdown — compressor malfunction. The compressor is one of the main elements of this unit and is regularly subjected to heavy loads.

Frequent compressor faults:

• The air conditioning system makes a lot of noise during operation.
• The compressor housing has traces of oil.

The MS111 stand checks the technical condition of compressors of car climate systems operating on R134a or R1234yf refrigerant, is used for running-in of compressors after their repair and during pre-sale inspection of new compressors-analogues, as well as for preparation of a report on the results of the inspection.

• The MS111 diagnoses piston, axial-piston, rotary and scroll compressors of car climate systems.
• Diagnoses all types of belt-driven compressors of car air conditioners, in automatic and manual modes, with supply voltage 12 and 24 V.
• Checks electromagnetic clutches, electromagnetic control valve for open circuit, short circuit, as well as the presence of a diode, both in the assembly with the compressor and separately from him.
