How do we pack our equipment before transportation?
Today we want to tell you a little bit about our work. More specifically, about how we pack our equipment to ensure its proper protection in transit.
High-tech and precise equipment requires special care during transportation! The process of packaging passes through several important stages in order to avoid any possible damage to the equipment.
All the items are being tested on the vibration bench within a period of 24 hours before packaging and shipment. It enables to test the equipment strength as well as guarantee that it can withstand strong vibrations during transportation. We measure output parameters right after the vibro-bench testing.
- A test bench will be wrapped in high density three-layer air-bubble film. Due to its unique properties, the air-bubble film provides high protection of the packaged items.
- Then the piece of equipment will be fixated to a wooden pallet with a special tape.
- Wooden crates are used to pack the equipment for international deliveries.
- Several layers of stretch film over the air-bubble film will enable to keep the items tightly bound.
- To prevent the damage of wheels the equipment is secured on wooden bars.
- In order to ensure the unhindered completion of customs formalities, the wooden crates are subject to mandatory phytocontrol.
If they are not test benches, but smaller devices like testers, spare parts or special tools which should be shipped, we pack them the same carefully to ensure their protection from dust and moisture during transportation. We wrap the items in several layers of stretch film first, then we use air-bubble film, and finally put them into special carton boxes.
Compliance with protection measures is very important for the equipment safe delivery. We do our best to prevent damage to the cargo and injury to people.
